This Project Manager will work closely with senior business leaders to design and develop innovative insurance solutions that can successfully deliver business growth. The role will be expected to provide a lead in the design of business models, product development and innovation.

The Project Manager will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of change / transformation project disciplines across the product, operational, people, and technology domains, preferably in a General Insurance context.

• Interpret internal / external business challenges and opportunities and set up solutions to deliver. Support workstream / product owners with preparation of business cases, plans and budgets as necessary to align with and support achievement of the overall program objectives.
• Cultivate teamwork through leadership and fill knowledge or skills gaps on project teams where needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with workstream leads, product owners, and all senior stakeholders to drive transparency of program workloads, financial, commitments, and expectations.
• Maintain project related data within program reporting framework. Monitor resource needs and issues and develop action plans to ensure program commitments are on track. Analyse, forecast and report budget adherence and earned value.
• Lead effective project initiation, developing the project backlog, sprint plans, resource requirements and budget to enable effective project prioritisation.
• Support the program in influencing and driving the change agenda and the cultural evolution while stressing the importance of developing new ways of working, supporting decision making with data and optimising processes.

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within company.
• Experience within international Financial Services with solid understanding of financial services organizations and dynamics; demonstrated ability to function within a multi-stakeholder and matrix management environment
• Strong experience of Agile project management
• Experienced in working with business teams to develop business models and new product propositions
• An independent working style and the will and strength of character to ensure plans are implemented in full. Strengths in problem-solving, issue resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong experience of Agile project management
• Managing projects in a corporate matrix environment with strong, empathetic people skills to be able to work with teams from different markets and cultural backgrounds, to gather differing viewpoints and insights and reach an optimal outcome and single best solution
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills (fluency required).

• Degree level qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Management / Change Management role in organisations of equivalent size and complexity. Agile Program Management experience, preferably with a recognised qualification
• A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a technical industry / environment such as financial services. General Insurance experience would be an advantage.
• Should be proficient with recognised project management software.
