Your Day to Day

As a Test Engineer, you would be working:

– In a highly agile, engaged, and motivated software Engineering team
– Execute upon our Quality Engineering strategy; including, leveraging tools, technologies, and processes for Test Automation at all levels, (e.g. Unit testing, Integration testing, System-level testing, Load testing, Performance testing, etc.)
– Utilize development skills to create and run our world-class test automation system written in Typescript
– Thoroughly test product use-cases and liaise with developers to deliver outstanding product quality
– Able to explore product quality issues and triage automated test runs

What We’re Looking For

– Professional experience in a commercial software product domain (e.g. SaaS, etc.) is preferred – strong programming skills are required (Typescript is preferred but any programming languages accepted)
– Understanding of Test Automation (e.g. Testing pyramid, Unit Testing, Selenium, Web Services Testing, GUI Testing); experience with testing client applications is highly desirable
– Understanding of Web-related technologies (inc. Web Services, Communication Protocols, etc.)
– Familiarity with cloud services (preferably AWS, container services, elastic search)
– Experience with version control, build, and bug tracking systems such as GitLabs and Jira
– Experience with the following tools: Webdriver.io, Cypress, Selenium, Testrail, QACoverage
– Experience with distributed systems
